Executive-Level Operators
Summit's founders spent 25+ years running billion-dollar CPG businesses at Walmart, managing buyer relationships and owning P&L outcomes. No broker in this market can say the same.
This isn't a pitch. It's a conversation between people who've sat exactly where you sit.
Summit wasn’t built by career brokers. It was founded by Charlie and Chad, who bring more than 50 years of combined CPG experience, including over 30 years managing businesses at Walmart. They’ve owned the P&L, navigated buyer relationships, led large teams, and fought for shelf space on businesses approaching $1 billion. That firsthand perspective shaped how Summit was built and continues to guide how Summit serves every client.
That perspective was earned at the highest levels of Walmart’s business. During his final decade at Clorox, Charlie managed a $1.7 billion Walmart business. Chad led Hasbro’s Walmart and Sam’s Club business beyond $1 billion. They weren’t advising from the sidelines, they were accountable for the P&L, the buyer relationships, the strategy, and the results. That operator’s perspective changes how Summit evaluates opportunities, solves problems, and helps brands grow.
Summit could have become a large brokerage. The relationships, experience, and reputation were there, but that was never the vision. As brokerages grow, brands can become line items, with attention naturally concentrated on the largest accounts. Summit was intentionally built around a different model: fewer clients, deeper investment, and greater accountability. Clients work directly with the senior leaders who built the company and remain personally invested in their business.

Charlie and Chad sat exactly where your team sits today — buyer negotiations, markdown conversations, supply chain fires, space resets. That institutional knowledge shows up in your business every day.
You work directly with the principals, not handed off after the pitch. The experience that closed the deal is the experience managing your account.
"Charlie managed a $1.7B Walmart business. He knows what a Category VP cares about, how Walmart buying teams make decisions, and what separates the brands that earn space from the ones that lose it. That knowledge is now working for you."
"Chad has sat in your seat. He's managed the Walmart buyer relationship, navigated space resets, handled markdown negotiations, and owned the outcome. When he's in your corner, you're getting someone who has lived every challenge you face."
Chad and Charlie lead Summit, but they don't work your business alone. A team of retail veterans shows up for clients every day — in the data, in the details, and in the buyer meetings.
